Do you know someone with an ODB-II reader? Autozone or any local auto parts store will read the codes for free, but obviously in limp mode that is likely not feasible.

The likely answer since you swapped the TB, is something related to it of course, so I'd double-check everything, no bent pins, TPS is put back in right, TB is clean, MAF cleaned and connected properly, etc..

You did have to swap it and some other things for the after-market BBK one, yes?

clear the code if you have an ODB-II reader, if not take the battery off for at least 15 min like wayne613 said, this will reset the computer.

Haven't witnessed any first hand or put an aftermarket throttle body on my car, but have heard about a few problems with these aftermarket ones throwing a check engine light.

Okay so I unplugged the negative for more than 20 min and I still have this issue ;/

Should I buy an ODB-II reader to cancel the warning light ?
