$26k is dumb... you could get a GT500 for just a few thousand more... with much more potential... I would shoot for low $20's/high teens. The car is about 7 years old at this point. New they were low 30's/high 20's

why would a 5.0 depreciate more compared to a 4.6? i think you are incorrect. 4.6's value has gone way down since the 5.0 has been released, atleast in my eyes.

hes asking 26,500 for a 2006 4.6
id say mabe 18k OP.
I also think/hope the 5.0's wont depreciate much at all since the engine is very desirable , im hoping they wont lose their value much at all for years.

Has some nice mods, like the headers and suspension upgrades. But the gold stripes look cheesy. I got my 2007, garaged condition (no dents, dings), with $6k supercharger, wheels, hood, short throw shifter, for $14k from a dealer. That's $12k less than the one you're looking at, but had 80k miles. I'd offer no more than $20k for that, if I wanted gold stripes and automatic :P

All good points from everyone. I don't have a problem with the gold stripes and I would prefer an automatic. (semi-retired and don't want to work myself to death in Atlanta traffic). Upgrades and low mileage are the justifications for the price. I got them down to $25,000 so that's not bad compared to other available cars around the country. I also have my eye on a 2008 Roush P51 for $27,000 because it has 54,000 miles. That's 2 years newer but 3 times the miles.
