Default bleh...probleme with clutch?

i wanted to do a nice smokey show on video for you guys, we alway told me to start in two to make the tire spin faster and make more smoke..
i tryed two time, once at 4.5k rpm, total fail, the car just slowly pulled,
second try, 6k rpm, barely a spin. see by yourself:

i have 3.73 gear, 20'' and at least 450 rwhp...correct me if im wrong, but wtf, im suppose to spin easy? i gotta say it smelled the smoke after...not usual smoke, nothing i could see from the front engine.. or under, in the second video we can see a bit of smoke from rear tire going front, might be this, but kinda didnt smell like rubber.. any non-hating though? clutch? it seemed to shift correctly after...

could the car be not powerful enough to spin in 2second gear on a dead point cause of the 20'' 285-30-20 and all the rear suspensions component that i got that make the car grip more then usual...

first video:
4k rpm

6k rpm, sorry gf started it just before starting reving

It just looked like you bogged the motor in the first video, not sure what was going on in the second video.

You have 3.73? I would think you could spin them easily starting in 2nd, but maybe not. If you stand on it from a dead stop in first does it spin?

Did you shut off traction control?

burnt clutch has a very distinct smell. If your clutch were slipping, then I would have expected to hear you hitting the rev limiter and going nowhere.

You do have the traction control turned off, right?

I don't know man, I will say that my auto 4.6 will spin out of 2nd easily. And it's a 335 HP car. Something is very fishy here...

Starting a burnout in second gear is going to be really hard on your clutch, you may have smoked it. The video sounded like your clutch was slipping a lot. Slipping ANY is very bad.

When I was into that sort of thing I always started in first then shifted into second while burning, not hard with a little practice.

the clutch on this car is one big *** heavy duty ****, at my uncle's garage, he say HIS cost was around 1500$...wouldnt like to get already a new one, been only a month i got this car...but I dont get how could it slip already ive never tryed this before, and I barely never do any burn out too? the clutch was fine after that...but i will definitly not try it again...

why on earth would you ever want to start in second for a burn out.....

1500 rpm come off the clutch smooth but quick like you would with a normal start but as you come off the clutch roll on the throttle smoothly at about the same speed as your left foot is coming off the clutch till fully release and your going full throttle at that point move left foot to brake and back off throttle to between 3/4 and full so your not bouncing off the limiter. its all done very quickly.

you don't need a 4500 rpm dump........especially with a 450 rwhp car.

doing a 4500 rpm dump in second gear is practically torturing the damn clutch and just begging to kill your clutch.

well i learned it, and by chance i didnt kill it, just did the two testing test and it the clutch did not slip...phew

and im pretty sure i wont get a burn outta 1500 rpms...i can do the brake trick but i gotta give her at least 3.5k rpm... i do my drag launch at 3k and it aint really spinning..

lesson: dont listen to your friend trick who got a 1200 rwhp viper...of course he can burn it in 2nd gear....he even do it in 3nd gear

cant get a facebook video to work..get the point, he pull away 3x time in 3 different gear, everytime it make a whole line of smoke.

you start out at 1500 rpms and roll onto the throttle quickly as you release the clutch.

if i can do it with a stock 4.6 a supercharged 4.6 should have no problems.

edit:

wait you launch at 3k for drag racing and your tires don't spin? you sure your clutch isn't fried......? that your you have some killer tires/suspension work.
