Default GT trans in v6

I'm looking at swapping in a gt trans into my v6 but cant seem to find the thread of the DIY and where to buy the adapter any help?

You need an adapter plate (about $700) and a new drive shaft. Then I think you'll need an adapter for the GT drive shaft to work with your 7.5 rear end or upgrade to an 8.8 GT rear end. That is all assuming you are talking about manual transmissions.

It is a fairly costly swap, but a few members on here have done it. Including 2005redfire6.
