id start there as well. You had a higher trap speed so it has more in it

Your altitude is going to directly affect your trap speed.

Your 60 foot time is hurting your et. Get it down to 2.0 and you'll see 13's. Don't shift to 4th if you have 3.55's.

Agreed. However, I batched off against another Stang just like mine with just a CAI and a tune... My 60 was better than his and he still ran 13.8...

I was holding 3rd on the last run and it helped trap speed

My best time and trap speed with just a CAI and tune was 13.6@106 and that was staying in 3rd gear with a 6500rpm rev limiter. You really shouldn't need to shift to 4th with 3.55's unless you have a really short rear tire.

Please note that I shift very, very slowly. Power shifting is for people with spare transmissions in the garage.

Why would you need to shift to 5th? With 4.10's and a 275/50/17, I trapped almost 118 in 4th and that is without hitting the stock rev limiter, 6250 I think. I'm pretty sure I can hit 120 in 4th.

Use this calculator to figure out top speed of each gear.

http://www.apexgarage.com/tech/gear_ratios.shtml

3rd with 3.55's and stock size tires is good for 108mph.

here's the ratios of the 3650.

1st Gear: 3.38:1
2nd Gear: 2.00:1
3rd Gear: 1.32:1
4th Gear: 1.00:1
5th Gear: 0.675:1
Reverse: 3.38:1

I bet it's a combination of DA and the 87 tune hurting you. I haven't seen any data that suggestions the shaker helps or hurts, but that's an interesting question.

The words "Cold Day" on that left column run jump out at me. 87 octane is also a killer.

How the heck can you possibly be near 5th with 3.55s? Something is off... I trap 120mph with 3.55s and I do it in 3rd gear at 6500rpms with a 27" tire.

Have more faith in that transmission. Hundreds of high RPM powershifts haven't done anything but deliver me a timeslip that says 11.39@120.

You have so many variables going on, it's hard to compare the two directly.

Your comparing times done years apart, with different tunes and mods, really hard to make a comparison.
