Does this massive dent in my resonator come stock?
I was looking under my car and tightening up some screws etc just making sure my exhaust was on good because it sounded a little weird today. Well i found this massive dent in one of my resonators, i have no recollection of hitting anything, and i dont even see how its possible to get a dent like this. Mabe a shop that did some maintenance or alignment after i got my springs installed jacked it up on that resonator somehow? I really dont know. Its a 2011 mustang gt, does anyone else have this dent?
I did recently lower the car but i dont recall hitting anything that could cause that dent.
heres the other side resonator which doesnt have a dent

Call up the shop where you last had it worked on.
Could also be where you drove over a speed bump with only one wheel.

Also..just for reference, if it was caused by a speed bump, it would be scraped to hell. These are stainless steel..
Again, this is from the factory. There have been a few threads on it, and mine has the exact same "dent".

I do think it may be normal since I have heard of some ppl saying it was there but never noticed it myself until now. Is there any official explanation of this?
If its stock, i think the only explanation is that somehow the prototype model of the exhaust got dented there accidentally, and some ford minion was told to copy the prototype EXACTLY , including the dent and didnt question why the dent may be there.
or mabe it adds to the uniqueness of the sound??
there just is no reasonable explanation from what i can imagine
