They may just want someone to ask about the car...
Back in May '02, we bought a very well equipped, new '01 F150 Lariat 4x4 ext. cab step side. Sticker read 34,000 I think....which was real close to the '02s sitting next to it. We liked the truck and after a couple times of looking at it, we decided to at least ask why the price was so high. The dealer said we were just waiting for someone to inquire....we really did not plan on selling it but things changed.
A salesman had ordered it and then developed cancer and could not buy it so they were undecided....
We offered $24,000 out the door with our trade at $7500 off of that....they accepted and we were shocked.
So, as I say, someone may have to just ask.......

Airport Marina Ford is close to my work, I'll have to go see - and laugh at their usual "additional dealer markup."
Was in there about a month ago looking at a '12 500, and they still had an ADM of $5,000 on it.
