I entered a small carshow today and actually won Best of Show. There were only about 30 cars and bikes there but a few of them were really nice. I have entered a few other shows and never even placed in my catagory so you can imagine my surprise when they called my name for first place. I got a trophy and a cash prize of 500 bucks. If you ask me the 47 chevy with the corvette engine should have won but I took the money and got out of there before they could retally the score cards lol. Anyway I'm proud of my little six banger and thought I would share with you guys. Whats really cool is I bought a CAI and just started saving for a tuner now I dont have to. gonna take the prize money and order it tomorrow.

lol yeah im gonna start looking for low key underpublicized shows on the same day as larger shows.

No you're right of course I was just kidding about looking for small shows kind of the 500 bucks was nice but I felt kind of bad that more cars didnt attend because it benifitted a worth while cause the Ronald McDonald House.

It is always fun to compete and also get to talk to car fanatics too. The small shows are great but I wouldn't be looking for them just to win a award easily. I couldn't display that award with pride if I got it handed to me because I had no competition. I love participating in shows that donate to a worthwhile cause.
