And sorry, but I agree with Siggy. No high schooler should be carrying a gun.
Ditto on the gas cap. That was the first thing I bought ($19 from Amazon).

IMHO, nobody under 18 should have a gun, unless they're in the military. And just so you're aware, I'm a VERY pro-2nd amendment guy, but kids nowadays (for the most part) simply aren't mature enough to carry in any situation, and vandalism is certainly no reason to go waving a gun around (insurance will/should cover it). After they turn 18, they're considered adults and should be free to exercise their 2nd amendment rights. In Texas, though, you're not allowed to have a gun, even stored in your car, if you're on school property.

Getting back on topic, if the little ****** at your school are doing this to your car, ride a bike to school, or take the bus. If you remove yourself from the situation, the situation can't happen. Plain and simple.

If you find out who's doing it, their parents can probably be made to pay for the damage. Once that happens, the vandalism will stop.

If it's a recurring issue, you may want to do a little bit of Googling for 9V powered button cameras.

You can get a small power supply to take care of the receiver in the trunk and a small DVR.

Catch 'em in the act, and let the authorities take care of it.

Nice little button cam with motion detection and a small portable DVR will run you about a hundred bucks.

(I live in the small town of Jealousy California, so I'm pimped in proper spy gear)

It probably was just some punk kid with a butter knife/piece of scrap metal, because there is only one part of the slash that resembles a true knife cut, and my serious knives cut through tires pretty well.

Its the first time anyone has really messed with the car. I mean, some jackass dumped a slushie on it and that was a b*tch to clean off, but nothing more than that.

Good call on the camera, though. I'll definitely get one when I have enough money.

Hey, if hes 18 then its all good. But good luck keeping a rifle in your mustang and actually being able to get it out if you ever need it.

Ive seen guys do custom headliners that have a slot for a nice metal baseball bat. Thats a cool idea in my opinion.

I bought one to prevent against this exact type of ****. So glad I did, I've come out to my car on campus before and the gas cap was open because some **** was trying to get in my gas tank.

They're not bullies - they're criminals.
