I have one in my v-8 2005 GT and I noticed a little difference. It felt like it breathe better and a little quicker . I also took out the vapor trap too. If anything it least it has a guarennte. Spelled wrong I know.

No you don't . Make sure you check for the vapor trap. It's in the hose that connects to the air cleaner. Usually if you squeeze it you can tell if you have one. A lot of new gts' don't even have it.
