Hi all, I have a 05 mustang 4.0 with 196,000 miles on it. I have done these things to it in the last year.
1)new fuel filter
2)new plugs
3)new plug wires
4)2 new coil packs (1st one only lasted 2 months)
5)cleaned MAF sensor
6)new thermostat
7)new radiator cap

I now have a bad skip in the engine but the only code it is throwing is a 02 sensor problem not a misfire code. has anyone had this same issue and found a fix. I didnt think that an o2 sensor could cause a skip. Auto zone said it could be catalitic conv. fail also. I'm confused.
Could someone please help me in my mass confusion state!!!

The front 2 02 Sensors control your air fuel mixture & if 1 or both are bad can cause some serious issues.

I appreciate your response. Sounds good to me. I will change both upper sensors. It's a $100.00 fix.... not bad.
