Default No new 2012 GT Premiums available?

Is it just in my area (S. Florida) or are there no new 2012 GT Premiums available at dealers? Did an inventory search and only 2012 V6s, 2012 GTs (non Premium) or 2013s available.

Would these sell out in the middle of 2012? Were there very few made?

Any ideas why this would be?

I know that out here in Northern CA, there just aren't very many V8s period 2012 or 2013.

I think it's kind of a result of high gas prices and people's personal economies right now. If the majority of people are buying the V6 - that's what the dealers are going to order.

With the 2013 already out and a small supply of the 2012 GT to begin with, I think that they just disappeared fast.

Drive up to Daytona beach, they have 4 pages of them on their website. I'm sure you can find some within an hour or two. I drove 1.5 hours to get my 06.

Part of it is Ford's production schedule. Being that Ford stopped making 2012's very early in 2012, it makes sense that they wouldn't be around on too many dealer lots at this point.

When I was looking into getting newer car I told them I would only buy a Boss 302 (in any color) or a Gt 5.0 in white.......guess what came first? I couldn't find a white GT anywhere.

To be honest, a BIG part of the problem is Ford's locater system. What a pain in the butt. You may just want to make a few direct phone calls.

I guess I got lucky I strolled onto the lot here in Monterey CA and there were 3 GTs. Only 1 was manual though with Brembos and it wasn't a premium. No regrets through I'll trade track apps for Brembos any day.

There are a few left here in Louisiana. You can call Ford and they will locate any in your area and send you an email with the specs. This is how I found my 12.
