Love the new tunes but codes have me confused
Going to call Bama to figure this out but figured I would run it by you guys first. Got my tuner the other day I let my 87 oct run out, filled my tank with 92 oct and loaded my 91 Race tune. the first day after driving up and down the road for about 15 min I through a code rich. figured it was just because of going 8 years on 87 and the computer hadnt fully got used to the tune and the CAI. I disconnected the battery started back up and havent had any trouble for 2 days yesterday I filled up the tank again now on the second tank of 92 octane and today i really got on her put the pedal to the metal went full throttle and again through 2 codes this time lean. Same octane same tune different codes what gives?

Try returning it to stock and upload the tune once again. I had a running rich code thrown at me twice after disconnecting my battery for more than 10 minutes. Doing the aforementioned advice removed the code for me both times and haven't seen it since. And no problems with it either.

I apologize for the inconvenience with your Bama tunes. I know how frustrating it can be when you get your mods & the tune acts up. Our tunes are good 99% of the time. Occasionally there are errors because we hand write each tune. I am confident my Bama team will fix it quickly, Majority of the time it's small human error when filing the customer information sheet or by a Bama member.
Shoot me over your order #, I am going to get you in direct contact with my head tuning specialist Mike Wilson. I guarantee with just a few peeks at your file, he will get you squared away. You will be enjoying your tunes in no time!
Thank you for sticking it out with us while we resolve your issue, We greatly appreciate it!

If so please shoot me over your order #, I will also have Mike contact you directly to get this issue resolved!

Thanks Dan I really love do love the tune reset it again today gonna give it another day or 2 to see if it takes. If i keep throwing codes I'll definately get with you. I do have a question for you though on Bamas Mod questionaire nowhere did it ask about ram air. My hood is a ram air hood and air blows in directly over the new CAI cone filter. I assumed this would be benificial having cooler airblowing on the filter but I dunno for sure, could doing this have any ill effects or cause me to throw codes?

05MineralGrayv6,
I can't see that being a reason for throwing any codes. If you want to update the tune with this ram air, it obviously won't hurt, but the small effect of slightly cooler air getting to the intake shouldn't throw a lean code. We make our tunes extra safe and a hair on the rich side to begin with. If this problem continues, as Dan said, hit one of us up and we'll get you taken care of ASAP with Mike Wilson!
