Nice sir, literally laughed out loud at the Brundle Fly comment hahahahaha Everything was written well and had nice pictures to accompany. The one part of my car that I always worry about when I take it on trips is the damn front bumper! I HATE bug guts!!!!! But you have further inspired me to take my trip with my friend from Houston to the West coast. He has a Bullitt and I have a GT/CS so we really want to tear the hell out of California hahaha but nice thread, thanks for sharing!

You absolutely should take that trip. Judging by the photo in your sig, that is a beautiful GT/CS and it would make an awesome road trip car.
As for the bugs, you can get some clear armor and cover the front bumper. I'd recommend it because my car ended up with some nicks and stains on the front and had to have it polished by a body shop.
The road trips are simply..cool!! I got my 13 GT/CS in June......my wife and I went on a 4600 mile trip from Ohio to south Texas to the east coast.......I love my GT/CS with a glass roof
