Ok
I tried black paint and clear; TOO SHINY <-- see earlier picture posted in this thread.

Plasti-dip did it for me. It goes great with the plastic/dull grill.

Now the decklid emblem is all I have left. I am thinking paint/clear since decklid is painted. After that the whole car is black, except the wheels.... That's not happening.

have you considered a saleen grill or a roush grill? both look amazing, and they get rid of the pony/driving lights.

Thanks --- I love all the bugs too, lol. It's too hot in GA to wash anything.

I have been trying to match all the lights and it's hard...

Two layers of tint on the fogs with HID 4300 and 6K equivelant LED'S as blinkers. Getting clear sidemarkers for front and back as well. Plan to tint them and stick in the same led's to get rid of all the red/amber colors.

The saleen grill is nice, except the damn blank spot for the saleen emblem.

A lot of customer photo's for the OP to review as well. It's tough to make these type of decisions.

No, I get it. There will always be at least one resident idiot no matter where you go. At least now I have found you.

Thanks.

Tygr,
Could you please give a brief description on how and where you got those stripes? They look great and I am looking for ideas for my Sterling Gray 2010.

I got the 10" stripe kit from The Decal Shoppe in Surprise, Arizona. Check out their website. I had them installed at a local sign shop for $150.

Why not get the full replacement grille? not the overlay grille? The roush or saleen grille is a good idea but there is also the GT/CS grille that came on the 2012 GT/cs that is black. I have it installed in my car as it fits the v6 direct replacement and for the gt you need the grille surround. Here is a couple pics of how it looks. I have since taken the pony emblem off the grille.

I like the Chrome look on your Stang because of contrast.. But the Saleen grill is pretty fresh too. Anyways, good luck. SMR all the way!!! ;0)

Point is, you can black out without killing the pony. Maybe its just my opinion but I love the contrast.
I really, really like your car, looks bad ***, but I still don't see a Blackout taking place anywhere....
