Officially sorry I bought this car

0 failures, not stolen, will smoke your structural integrity. Looks are in the eye of the beholder.

Well aren't you fortunate. However you must admit there are a few sacrifices for the awesome feeling of going topless, which I already mentioned. Especially if you have 0 degree winters

Eh the one that got me going was the structural integrity. Yes, there are sacrifices to be made. My car gets stored away in a heated facility for almost half the year and I drive around a POS 2000 honda accord. Going from a beautiful car that thros down over 400 at the wheel to a clear coat peeling craptastic beast that might get 200hp (dunno and dont care) is not an easy thing to do.

Actually most of these cars come with a 3 year basic, and 5 year drivetrain/roadside/rust warranty out of the factory. So in essence, I could see how OP was a little upset that the car was having major mechanical/paint problems barely out of original owner's warranty. And the paint bubbling is almost always a shock to first time mustang owners.
That said, sounds like you just got a slightly defective vehicle OP. All manufacturers have this problem, and not many dealerships will back a car that is out of warranty, especially one that has a history of problems.

I'll talk to this because I have some first hand experience.
I had my top replaced in March, and it didn't go down as far as I thought it should. Called the shop that did the work, they took it in, and told me that because the fabric was new, its a bit stiff and will take a few up-downs to settle.
Now, July, it goes down further than it has before. So that at least, is nothing you have to worry about.

Not a big fan of convertibles, unless it's a convertible hardtop. Ford should really stand behind the paint though. Chrysler had a problem with their paint years ago. it would just start flaking off the roof and hoods of their cars and trucks. I still don't think they know how to paint a car!
