Default Suggestions for colors of stripes/decals please?

hello all, I just ordered a CAI and Bama Tuner for my 2010 V6 and want to add some white bama decals and 12 inch racing stripes. The problem is that the car has rocker stripes that look more frosted white (see in the attached link). I'm afraid that if I do white decals/stripes they won't match the color of the rocker panel stripes. Input/Suggestions/Pics are great appreciated! thanks!

my baby is in the link below, thanks for you time

may I suggest you remove the rocker stripes looks better without them IMO but if you like the look Im pretty sure AM sells rocker stripes that would match the racing stripes.

So order some white rocker stripes, and rip the old ones off. They don't even have to say anything on them. Everyone knows it's a "MUSTANG".

+1 on removing the rocker decal. I've read a hair dryer will work and then use goo gone to remove any adhesive residue.

It takes a while, but a 2010 shouldn't be on there too bad. Credit card, plastic tool, finger nails for peeling it up. Goo gone (the gel kind) makes it a lot easier. You can use a hair dryer or heat gun but be careful on the paint with that.

Let the car sit in the sun for a couple hours and they will peel right off. I did it to mine as it had matte black stripes you could barely see. I changed to white.

Agreed on removing the rocker strips. Hair dryer or heat gun will do the job for you. Just be careful not to get the paint to hot.

I wouldn't advise Goo Gone, if you use too much it can haze the paint and makes it hard to reapply anything with any type of adhesive.

I used it after taking off a blackout panel to remove the adhesive so I could re-install it better and I couldn't get it to stick on at all (it kept peeling off within seconds). Even after repeated cleaning with rubbing alcohol.

I used WD-40 to remove the massive amounts of 3M that was left after my spoiler was removed and it worked great! Really easy.

But like everyone says, replace the rocker stripe. AM has a variety for you to chose from as well as other companies. Just look around for something you like.
