It is a sales plan . If they sold the lights for cheap and basically anyone could get them to put on their 2010-12 then why would they go buy a new 2013? Some of the new sales come from people just liking the tails..

I'd pay the $$ for those lights if I had it..

Well, $1300 is too much for tail lights. I'd rather get a leather steering wheel and an aftermarket audio system, because then I could actually see what I spent my money on every time I drive the car.

For $1,300 I'd install them on top of my dashboard facing me so I could see what I spent my money on every time I drive the car.
