Default Best Take off on manual?

I just got my mustang gt and i wanted to take it to the track for a run, but first i wanted to learn how to take off good. I am a beginner in manual
any advice

practice makes perfect. there's no one size fits all best way to launch.

word of advice, if you do go practice.. don't launch back to back to back. it's very hard on the drive train and you'll wear things out quickly, especially if you heat em up real good with back to back runs.

youtube search some videos 'how to launch a manual car'. I don't want to feel responsible for you breaking something if I type it up. LOL

ohh well thanks for your advice anyway lol im not gona damage my car i love it haha i've raced before but only on rolls thats why i was aksing

oh but you will damage and wear out your car with launches. how much and where you place the stress will depend on how you launch it.

you can do it without too much abuse once you've picked up some practice.

also depends on what kind of power your making and what suspension and tire set-up you have... too many variables... find a vacant road and practice. I usually start out about 3k and ease into it pretty quickly... hard to explain... just dont pop the clutch at 3k rpms or you'll just spin with stock tires...
