I also run the Detroit Rockers on a DD. The car runs just like it did when it was stock, except for the awesome idle and power gain! Either cams would be good. I obviously can only speak of the Detroits, but many guys here run the HotRods and they're fine. Just get a tune from a good reputable tuner.

In my set up.. there's a little loss of low rpm torque and about 2mpg difference... stop and go is a little more annoying.. but not that big a deal.. Sound is awesome... and my shaker actually "shakes"

My car actually drives better than stock. I can let out the clutch at idle with my Detroit Rockers and factory 3.55s and pull away with no bucking, something I couldn't do with the stock cams (not sure why...).

I was definitely afraid of ruining my drivability when I installed the cams, but was pleasantly surprised when my drivability got better. Couldn't be happier with my set up!

Generally it's the tune when guys talk about bucking and stalling. When I first had my detroit rockers installed my car would idle up and down and die. And it would also buck. I had to take it to brenspeed where they got the issue takin care of. Not all cars are the same so what tune works for your might not work for yours even if the mods are the same
