Did the dirty deed

And traded the '10 in for the 07 GT500. I'll get some of my own pics posted after I make some.

Im totally in love with this new car. My '10 was a really good car, but the Shelby is a great car.

The ink hadnt even dried on the contracts when they had 2 customers lined up waiting to drive mine. They were out in the parking lot revving it up while we wrapped up the deal then 1 took off while the other waited his turn to look at my old car. You have to understand this is a small dealership too that is all used cars and caters to mostly old rich dudes. They had just brought in a Maserati Quattroporte Sport GT S for example. I felt like the toothless, filthy white trash dude there. I wish I had a banjo...that would have made it complete.

One guy was just buying a Porsche and they asked what his monthly mortgage payment was. No **** he says "8790 a month." Neither of the 2 sales guys there batted an eye. I was floored. I can't imaging writing that check every month!!

Anyway, I'm glad that some fat old rich guy decided to trade the GT500 in for a vette. Cuz now I'm rocking "The Beast"

Congrats on the purchase! Interesting direction to head but how can you argue with a shelby :)

This though doesn't make sense to me. Even on a 3 year/36 month loan, that would mean that the car most likely would cost 280k+ with total payments near $320,000. Porsche doesn't sell models valued at over $200,000...so yeah, I don't know what was going on there. Unless he was trading down from like rolls royce or bentley....which also isn't possible, because those companies will not finance cars.

Congrats! This guy might have a plan to pay off in a year or something...rich guys think that way.

He was getting financing and when they asked him what his mortgage payment on his house was that's when he said the 8790. That's his house payment. It also crossed my mind, why are you financing this car when you have a 9G house payment? Shouldnt you just have cash for it? I think the asking price on the car was 45k.

I would have mugged him but I didnt have my banjo nor didnt think I'd get too far with his black AMEX. lol

It was his house payment (mortgage) not his car payment.

Looks like WCG beat me too it! Congrats on the new ride btw! Looking forward to seeing some pictures for sure.
