Guys, been taking some film at the track... this Mustang which my buddies believed to be a 2013 Mustang Shelby GT500 ran 14s. Let me know what you think it actually is.

That's not even a year 2010+.... Hell my V6 could get under 14 seconds... Seemed like a rough couple of shifts there anyways.

Definitely not a 2013 - it is a 2005-09 model year.

Maybe it is my computer speakers, but I didn't hear the blower whine. If it doesn't have a blower then it isn't a GT500.

Looks like a 2007ish GT500...it does have the blower whine.

You would be surprised that a pass like that compared to that car's potential happens often. Couple factors could be bad traction, slow shifts, humidity/weather conditions, the track's elevation (higher up means less air density).

lol I know. I am just starting to get into YouTube. They are trashing me for this post. Even though it may not be a 2013, he should have ran better then 14.16 all night. I will post another this week when I get my Mustang back. My buddy has a GTO and wants to run a grudge match for 500 dollars. I need some advice.... I do not want to get clobbered

Well do you know what's under his hood? Cuz whoever made the video (you?) couldn't tell the difference between an 05-09 GT500 and a 2013 GT500......2013 SCREAMS!! Got its sexual....Anyways. I say race for fun/bragging rights. Not $500....you're buddies xD
