Question Used headers and H pipe? Good or bad idea?

I found some used headers and H pip. JBA's. Would there be anything wrong that I should look for or would they most likely be ok to use?

More than likely OK to use. I would be more concerned about the condition of the H pipe. Watch for dings on the headers, and make sure the flanges look good.

Look for cracks on the tubing close to the flange and down near the collector. How much is he selling them for?

Yeah, I've always heard as long as it's not a moving part, then used is typically okay. Obviously if its damaged, that's another story. Good luck.

Recently installed a used set of BBK shorties on a friends 07gt and had no problems what so ever. Like they said beware of cracks and dings. These headers were a little rusty (chrome) but other than that no major concerns. Craigslist for $80 is hard to beat.

I just picked up and installed a set of Pypes longtubes for $320 with O2 extensions and and the first part of the midpipes. Install was a nightmare without lifting up the engine, but that kinda freaked me out so I avoided it haha. The headers were great though, even with 20k on them. Sound is amazing and well worth it.
