used 06' GT over 100k . Deal or no deal?
Hey guys, i am new to this site and im hoping to join the 'stang community soon. I've wanted a mustang since 2005 , Well before i got my license, mainly because i liked the body style similarities to the mustangs from the 60's and i think i might be getting my chance now. Currently i drive a ford taurus, but my mom and grandmother where planning to pitch in on a down payment on a new car. to make a long story short, i've found a very nice looking 06 Gt for a seemingly good price , but the kicker is it has 100,000 miles on it. The Reason i am considering it is because i have been looking at 'Stangs for a while and normally the ones i can find for my price range are between 14-15,000 with around 40-80 k miles . of coarse i would have it checked out before i signed anything or put any money down, and i know to check the maintenance records
but i just wanted to know if it's worth it to buy a 'stang with that many miles . also im going for a test drive tomorrow !

I agree with above... with 100k miles it's worth no more than $10k. Once you get near that 100k mark, I feel like the value gets less and less. If it had some nice upgrades like intake, tune, headers, wheels, lowered, it could be worth 12
For perspective, I got my garaged 2007 GT with 80k miles back in November last year for $14k. I know mods don't really add to the value (maybe a little), but this thing came with the $6k supercharger/cooler, wheels, hood, short throw shifter. On the downside it needed an exhaust and new tires, but that was easy.
So it is almost like i got the car for around $8-10k
