Sarcastik: are you for REAL??? You really will spend $350 for a 30k check up? I'm not broke nor cheap by any means but you've got to be kidding us.

Nuke, I don't get if you're saying that $350 is too much or too little. To me it seems like nothing considering that you might sell the car 1 day and if you have ALL your maintenance records then you will get more money for the car. Easily a couple grand more compared to car that isn't as well maintained with no records. Cars aren't a GOOD investment, but they are still an investment. If you take care of it or try to do a hack job at home then when something goes wrong you really don't have anyone to blame but yourself. Sure an oil change and a tire rotation are cheap, but having someone who can spot something that you might not be able to catch is worth $350 imo

I know a mustang isn't benz or an audi, but that doesn't mean it ain't worth taking in to a shop every 30,000 miles for a quick look over.

Just got thru changing the cabin filter, it was pretty nasty.

Funny how euro car makers want the brake fluid changed every 2 years but american car makers seem to ignore it.
I agree, old moisture contaminated brake fluid is not good
Good point. It should definitely be done at least every two years. I do my motorcycle every opening season. Smaller capacity though. Plus it's pretty easy to do with a mighty vac. This is a very useful tool for the DIY'er and brake bleeding/flushing.
