How reliable is the "Xkm to Empty"?
Couple days ago i found myself in a situation where i had only like 5 liters left, i thought it would only get me 15km but the computer said it had 30km to empty, how reliable is the computer, i normally try to refill just before the fuel level low thing pops up

The onboard is not very accurate and it uses data based on the last time you reset it, not real-time data.
I don't understand why ANYONE would depend on the miles/km to empty readout or the onboard, in general. Your fuel gauge is real-time data and you shouldn't be letting the tank get below 1/4 anyway. It cost no more to fill up twice from 1/2 full then it does to fill up once from empty.

You're going to ruin your fuel pump doing that. The pump uses the gas in the tank to keep itself cool/lubricated, and waiting until the last second is going to shorten the lifespan of that pump significantly.

Last week, I ran my 2013 GT down to 0 miles left. It took 14.7 gallons, leaving a 1.3 gallons in reserve. Each driver/onboard data/car is different though, so don't take my experience a gospel.
I do this at least once in all my cars. It drives my wife nuts. I guess I enjoy the thrill? Only one time, with my '64 TR4, I missed by 200 yards...uphill. I had to walk home several blocks and get a gas can.

When you hit "0 miles to empty", you still have ~1 gallon of fuel in reserve.
Once I took my car to 0MTE, and then an additional 19 miles past that. I was surely on fumes. Put 16.4 gallons in her at the pump, lol

I think the fuel warning light and message comes on too early in these cars. Mine comes on when I still have 50 miles left. I reset the computer after each fill, so I assume that it's pretty accurate. It should come on at 25 miles or so in my opinion.

The computer isn't all that good at estimating how much you used - from one fillup to the next the computer will tell you about 10% less was used than what you'll be able to put in (i.e. if the computer says 10 gallons used, you'll likely be able to pump closer to 11).
