bigger doesn't mean more expensive. a lot of the cost of the tire is how common the size is, as tires are sold in bulk.. 19s and 20s are very comparable in cost, and there are typically more tire make/models and sizes to choose from in 20s

You can go 20's and not be affected by the weight if you choose properly. I haven't noticed a drop off at all, and I'm willing to bet my setup is lighter in the front, and pretty close to the same in the rear. Car feels less "squishy" in turns, due to less sidewall flex also. I thought 20's were going to look really big on my car, but they've really grown on me. Some of my friends thought I was making a mistake going that big, but it's grown on them.

I do imagine, that those chrome 20's are really heavy though. I'd like to know what one back rim/tire combo weighs.

In trying to research the weight of these rims, I came across a part that Stage3Motorsports claims is a MUST to prevent the wheels from hitting the inner fender well.

Is this an issue unique only to Roush 20" wheels or does everyone who has installed 20" wheels have to add this part to their car too?

My wheels fit fine with no modifications required.

No modification needed on mine. It's an 07 though so I guess that doesn't help you much..lol I do recall reading a thread about the wheel weight over on fnsweet though.

Default Bigger Wheels

It might make a difference if there is
a large weight difference. I put on heavier duty shocks and it solved the handling problems. They will look really cool.
