Well I was looking at VIS and Carbon Creations, which are both good brands from what I've heard. Anyone else think otherwise?

I had a VIS CF hood once. Good quality. Dunno about the wear though. I was in it for the weight. I had it painted to match my car.

Is it actually full CF, or just a bottom and top layer? If it is not full CF then I doubt there will be a weight savings, fiberglass hoods weigh more than the stock aluminum ones IIRC.

And any good ideas on front bumpers? And a pair of aftermarket headlights won't be cheaper than an OEM one will it? You can get some for pretty cheap off eBay. I know they're going to be cheaply made and, like all you say, you get what you pay for, but can headlights really difference in performance. They may be made cheaper but they don't stand a lot of stress and you wouldn't be able to tell. And don't worry, I won't be getting some of those ricer looking pairs, I was just thinking some black ones. I'll look into this.

Headlights:
Aftermarket vs OEM (Part #13008)

Hood
Aftermarket vs OEM (Part #16612)

Front Bumper:
Aftermarket vs OEM (Part #17757)

I pretty much listed these for personal use and to see what you guys think. I like the hood and lights but not sure about the bumper. I couldn't find many that actually look aftermarket for under $217. Any bumpers you can suggest? Also, there's a video on the link I gave you for the hood that shows another VIS hood.

I'm really sorry to hear about the accident, but glad you're ok.

...and talk about adding insult to injury..."Police showed up and I got a $98 ticket for fixed object collision."

That's like the police officer driving around giving tickets for tinted windows, when he/she drive's around in his/her personal vehicle that is so illegal that even the entire front windshield is blacked out.

Whatever you decide, do not buy anything Duraflex. I have not heard any good stories from their products.
