Gas spits out while putting gas

Anyone have a problem with that I have a 05 gt it spits out gas and clicking off when it's not even in full tank

Is it at all gas stations it does this? I know there's one station by me with crappy old pumps and it did this. That's why I don't go to that station any more.

It's a very common problem and VERY frustrating!!

It's easier to just fill it half full, instead of fighting with it...

Ahhhh thanks I'm not planning on fixing it I just squeeze the pump half way till its full

Some of the older pumps at gas stations seem to make a bad seal on my mustang. Its hit or miss for me on whether it thinks its full or not. I just reseat it a few times and it gets going.
