Can't decide on first performance mod.
 

Hey guys! I'm on the fence about what I want to do for my first performance mod. Car is bone stock under the hood right now and I already love the power I have but I guess I just want more. I WISH I could get a whipple but I cant. So right now it's kind of between CAI & Tuner or new exhaust. Performance vs Sound. I like the thought of both. Any advice would be appreciated or alternative mods also. Thanks a lot!

On the subject of a CAI. I have no idea what brand to go with. I like the thought of the Airaid Race CAI. Thanks again!

What year and model car. Manual or auto. What's your price range?

Better flowing heads? cam? if its an auto get a stall, you will definatly love your car then.

I would say tune...these cars benefit heavily from a tune. You can get CAI+tune combos at AmericanMuscle. Definitely get a bama tuner with AM though so you get the free tunes for life! :) then I would say an exhaust. Watch a lot of YouTube videos!

This is the road I was thinking of taking bigD. I just don't know which combo to get. Its essentially boils down to which CAI is the "best" if there is such a term for the ones on AM. What are the real differences besides looks

I have AIRAID and im pretty sure it was top rated. And I know they had a $50 rebate at AM not sure if they still do. Check it out. But either AIRAID or BBK are my pics. AIRAID has a nice loud "whispp" to it when you hit the gas. It's cool as fuhhhh!

Depends on your future plans. I would go with CAI/Tune. Hard decision vs. exhaust though. Either option is a winner.

Gotta be a cai/tune first bro.
Automatics benefit even more from a tune with firmer shift points, along with the increased timing and power.
Exhaust is such a personal thing, I would take some time before making a decision.
