buying my 1st mustang wich is my first car!
im planing to get a mustang as my first car , since i dunno alot about cars i wanna ask some members may help me with some questions.
im thinking of getting a mustang V6 or a mustang GT wich one is better for a first car , will the GT run out of gas much faster than a V6 ? , is the V6 slow car like everyone says? , if i buy the V6 will i feel sorry in a way that i didnt buy the GT model? and btw im from Israel i dont think ford company here sells mustangs , so if i wanna bring one from usa any idea how should i do that like contacting usa ford company or somthing? please answer me if you know at all these questions ill be very thankfull!

well it really all depends on your finances. And are you talking a newer 2010+ model or a 2005-2009 model? If 05-09, go GT! If 2011+ go V6. 31 MPG and 305 HP. Very fun first car. If your spending isn't an issue, I'd say get a 2011+ GT. It's really up to what you can handle money wise. And the newer GT's MPG isn't all that bad at all.
As far as transporting the car to another country, can't help you there.

There is a upside and downside to having a V6 and V8 Mustang.
V6 mustangs are good for mileage, safer for newer drivers, and better on most insurance prices.
V8 mustangs bring back the good old historic feel, especially with a manual. The sound and aura of a GT trumps a V6 in every way (in my opinion). They are much faster, much more fun, and sport a dual exhaust. Less mpg, more insurance, can be more dangerous. Never have I heard someone not wanting a V8. They always move from a sixxer to a GT, not the other way around. I could see myself easily being upset a year or two later having a V6. But that's me.
Personally, I'd go GT. I like horsepower a lot, So I'd say if possible do 11-12 GT. :P They have the coyote 5.0L V8 sporting around 412 hp. Mustangs are very safe cars in my opinion with nearly no blind spots or bad views. The windows are wide and the cars built well. Im 18 with a 2008 GT (same hp stock as an 2011+ V6), but mine is supercharged to close to 500 hp at the flywheel and I'm still itching for more.
Only warning I can give... if you start modding your mustang, get ready for a nice and large hole in your wallet.

Many used 2012 and 2011 Mustangs. Might want to check them out. Even if they have less than 1,000 miles a used car is much cheaper regardless. Look on autotrader.com for Mustangs near you. Search your favorite colors, transmission wanted, keywords, parts, mileage, year, etc. and search for private dealers or dealerships near you.
