If Ford releases a Mustang that looks like that and with a 4 cyl, they are going to lose allot of buyers including me. The Mustang is the Flagship of Ford IMHO and you don't see Chevy coming out with a 4 cyl Vette. Sigh..

Base model engine, I'm not worried. Though if it looks like a Fusion, I'm going to have an issue.

Lol don't be. Saves me $400 a month. Once my $500 a month student loans are paid off I'll be able to pick up a 13 gt500, or a boss or something else fun. Its got 270ft lbs from 0 rpm, so its rather peppy.

And I personally wasn't much of a fan of the 2013 front ends (seems Charger-ish to me?) but after seeing the whole shebang in person, it's nice!

I think the 2015 is going to come out, and it'll be a hit.

I'm too young to really remember, but for you old fogies, was there a big sht-storm back in 93 when the 94 design was released? And again when the 5.0 was cut in 96?
Not at all from a styling perspective. The stang community was hungry for a major redesign after 15yrs of the Fox body. The SN95 was/is a beautiful design and incorporated lots of styling cues from the early Mustang. The big issue was the tail light design and whether it should be true to the 1st gen 3 panel vertical design or the stay with horizontal design - so that gives you an idea of how little there was to complain about:-).
Performance wise there was discontent with the slight loss in HP thanks to slightly more restrictive upper and people were not happy with the new challenges in modding an OBD II equipped car that throws a cell with even just a mild mod. The move away from 5.0 Windsor block did not go down well. No, that took years to get over. Not until the aftermarket & racing community had time to bang on it and bring the 4.6 mod motor back up to the performance level (and beyond) of the 5.0 did harmony return, LOL.
