To the op we don't have nearly enough info to give you accurate advice.
Except the Tahoe isn't almost paid off . . .

Hey if you've made up your mind to dump the thing, which is what it sounds like, then dump it, lol. You don't need our $.02. As someone who has done a similar "move" several times, I can tell you that it had a 100% fail rate, lol.

Somebody mentioned trimming in other areas. I love my Starbucks but seriously add it up if your a Starbucks drinker. Go there 5 x a week and your spending over $1k a year. Take a home lunch to work vs buying lunch. Thats about $50 a week or $200 a month right there.
As somebody whom was a cheap SOB for the first 40 years of my life, I will tell you it works.

I have two children and totally understand. If you are looking for more room (small 3rd row seat) and NOT a minivan, look into the (2008 - current) Mitsubishi Outlander XLS (V6, 3.0 liter). They are listed as above average in the consumer reports and get decent gas mileage for a smaller SUV. 17 MPG City and 24 MPG Highway. We are in the processes of buying one now.
Other smaller SUV's that are rated well are the Toyota RAV4's and the Honda Pilots.
Good luck!
