Updates on my car!! 2012 GT/CS
Hey guys, havent posted a thread in a while about anything with new mods on my car so here ya go. I recently lowered it with FRPP K springs and a BMR panhard bar and I also switched from my steeda tune to an AED tune.
Installing the lowering springs was not hard at all and I love the way the car looks lowered and it handles 10X better. There is hardly any body roll and the car all around feels much stiffer and firm. The only downfall I have with these springs is my alignment specs. I took it in for an alignment, didnt purchase camber bolts as many said I wouldnt need them, and I ended up with -1.3 on the driver side and -1.5 on the passenger side. I am going to purchase the eibach camber bolts and have it re-alligned and hopefully bring it back in to -1.0.
As for the tune switch, I am LOVING my new AED tune. I have no bad complaints or words about Steeda, and Matt Levine was very helpful throughout my purchase, but this AED tune just feels much smoother and more powerful. From the moment I started it up I noticed it idled much smoother and just all around seemed to run better. I am currently running Shauns "sport tune" (my car is an auto) and I love the way it feels. Shaun has the tune downshift automatically as your speed decreases which I do like (can get annoying at times) but does help when driving around town and passing on the highway. Basically is I had to sum it up in a few words, THIS TUNE ROCKS :rockon: !!!! The only issue I have with his tune right now, is traction issues lol.
Below are some pics on my car as it sits not with the lowering springs.

Just cause your car is $250,000 doesnt mean it'll win =P
