where do you live?? A fair condition v6 05+ will still bring 8-10K around here (AZ).

That's because places like AZ and NM are stupid priced with their Mustangs.. I'm from out there and can't believe what some people try to sell them for.. early s197 GTs can be found for 10K in the south

Who cares what it books for.. it's what they sell for on average.. I can show you 10 clean looking V6s in GA that are listed below 9K that you can probably get for around 7.5K cash..

That's exactly what I was thinking when I read that the OP was asking about purchasing the car as it is looks the pictures. I wouldn't want any part of that....and apparently neither does the seller of the car, which explains why they'd rather sell it and take less than fix it and get more.
