How much is the price difference? The plug and play ones take like 5 minutes to install and it guarantees against someone doing it wrong themselves. My guess is that the splice in (I didn't look) is just a relay and you have to cut into every wire to every light and tie it in with a soldering gun and then pull your shrink tube thing down and heat it to shrink it around the exposed area. At least that's what I would do. PITA thuogh if you ask me. I did that with all my radio wires when I installed my head unit.

ok I looked. It's only a $40 difference and if you PM the right person (hint, they posted in this thread) you can get a forum discount code.
Unless your husband just likes doing **** himself, then get the splice in.

I have the Meter4it lights on my '06 GT and I love them. They have a splice in kit that runs $155 and a partial plug n play kit that runs $205. They are the only company I know that has the "chase" sequential display. To me, it looks much better than the regular sequential lights. To me, the look is what you are buying.

I'm assuming you meant the plug n play kit. I agree.

And I believe AM has a 50 post count minimum requirement for their discount.
