Default 2007 Mustang Sequential Tail Light

So my husbands birthday is next week and I want to get him sequential tail lights for his 2007 GT. I don't know if I should get the normal bulbs or LED. There is a $150 price difference and didn't know if it was worth it for the LED lights. I am looking at these:

THANKS!

I don't think the LEDs are worth it unless he specifically wants them. The ones you linked are a splice in kit as well, I went with the plug and play which is a bit more but you don't have to bother with wiring at all.

Hi your husband will love the lights. I have an 07 GT and I bought mine from Ebay. I paid $100 and got them in 4 days. I have never had a problem with them. Shop around...Happy Birthday to him

B_M,

The Splice in, Plug-in and LED are all great. If he's just looking for an easy install and wants sequential lights, then I'd recommend going with the standard Sequential Plug in kit!

I don't think you can go wrong, I hope this helps! Let me know if you have any questions.

I agree with everyone's feedback, but personally I think if you really wanted to make your husband happy.......

Just another suggestion!

b_m - Others may disagree with me, but I'd pay the little extra for the "plug-in" style sequential tail lights like the ones Dan linked above, rather than the splice in. Just makes for a quick, easy, clean install.

Either way, your husband will love them. I've actually got them on my Cobra and a few weeks ago, after my wife followed me home from picking up my car, she actually commented how cool they looked and asked if they made some for her 2012 Toyota Sienna SE van...I tried not to laugh, lol!!

Hey I have an '07 and got the plug in seq lights and love them. I don't think u should get LEDs personally. The standard bulbs are pretty bright. Be sure that when u install it to not touch the bulbs. Oh and if I were u, I'd go buy new bulbs $6-$12. U will need 6. (excluding the reverse lights). I did and they are super bright.

Web Electric has a plug in kit with the option to have the brake lights operate normally, without sequencing. That is the one that I bought- I think sequencing brake lights look dorky- Turn signals are OK.

I personally prefer the non LED. The LEDs are an immediate off and on. The regular bulbs have a nice lingering sort of fade out effect.

I have the plug-n'-play in both my '07 GT and my wife's '06 V6. It's one of those mods that you can't help smiling about. Hubby will also notice OTHER people pointing and smiling.

I'm not of fan of the LED's but to each their own.
