NEW rear breaks making noise
Hay guys just got my rear brakes changed and im hearing noise. sounds like something is rubbing, while driving i pushed in clutch to see if noise was still there and it was. i dont think its a bearing cause its not a whining sound.

It could be a couple things.
A. The pistons in the caliper may not have been properly aligned with the pads and it's causing them to rub the rotor the wrong way.
B. Your rotors might need to be turned. Rub your finger along them all and feel for any uneven placed, or gashes in your rotors. If the rotors and too worn out, you'll have to replace them but if not it should be like $15 a pop to turn them.
C. The small metal plates that hold the pads in on the caliper clamp may need to be greased, as they could potentially seize up the pad on the rotor.
I believe someone asked something similar on this section on the forum in a thread called "Brakes Seizing", I posted a video on there and it should help you understand what I'm talking about a little better. Good luck!

i looked at the rotors this am and everything seems ok i mean they changed them yesterday so i dont see why there would be uneven wear!! pads were changed to ceramic from metal there supposed to be better quality. should i give them time to settle before going back to garage? I heard it takes a couple days before thing get into place

Oh I didn't know they just changed them. Hmm, I actually changed the rotors on my car yesterday and they were making a grinding noise for about a hundred yards but after that everything was gravy. If you can, have someone stand outside your car to listen more carefully to see if you can isolate where the noise is coming from. Also, go drive around a little while and then check each rim for excess heat. If your caliper is seizing, you'll definitely notice one rim being hotter than the others.
