Default finally found out why....

Why my 12 gt has been running so rich. Engine light came on this morning when i was taking my dad to pick up his fusion from the dealer. Had code po150. Ford found that a a/f was leaking water onto my o2 sensor. Reason why my a/c was blowing condensation put the vents. So after 4 months of knowing the car was burning to much gas hopefully it is fixed now. They cleaned the water out of the connector and re-routed the line. Car had been running upwards to +20% in the long term fuel trims. Bad bad gas miles. Hopefully all better now. Question though. Should I take it back to dealer and have them check all the spark plugs bc its been running so rich for so long?
Sorry havent been on here in awhile. Been busy getting my life back on track and beating some addictions. Feeling tons better now. And now my car is running like it hasn't in a few months.

Yeah check em. My A/C blows condensation too, but so does my friends Saleen which sole purpose is a show car and almost never gets driven, so I never worry about it.

Good luck with your battle man, I know how that goes...

Thanks Rick and whosniffed me. Means a lot to have a good support group around me and on here. Been a long road that has almost taken me off this earth. Good to have me back now. The real me. and I might have Ford check the spark plugs too. Or at least go up there tomorrow and ask the shop foreman what he thinks.
Amd yes trex seemed odd to me too. But anything is possible. Not sure why the line was routed over the o2 sensor in the first place but they re-routed today. But the car is getting much better gas mileage now. Will def keep an eye on it though.

Hey Shoey, as Rick said, glad that you and the car are doing well!

As far as the car, yeah, I'd have them check out everything, knowing what you do.

Thanks Cameron. When did u get the termi?
I'm going to go talk to the shop foreman when I get out of this Dr appt. Ask his opinion. And I know how easy it is to pull and check the spark plugs. Might also have them check the cats bc of all the raw fuel that been going thru them.

Thanks. My bad. Will quit with the deepness and stay on cars from now on. might trade in the gt soon. Debating it now and figuring out what else I want.
