So the dealer I bought my BMW from got a 07 GT500 white with blue stripe for $34k with 11k miles. It's a clean looking car with no aftermarket mods on it.

But after looking at it more I realized it looks just like my 08 GT minus the 5.4L Supercharged V8. I can't bring myself to spend that much more money for a car that looks like every other mustang out there. I wish Shelby would have changed the body style more to make them stand out more. Also a lot of the interior was the exact same as mine. Only difference was the steering wheel, gauges and shifter. Also for a $50k plus car new I would think they would add hood struts instead of the cheap prop rod.

Also I can get a c6 corvette with around 30k miles for around the same price.

id still rather have the shelby over c6 corvette.. but its your money if you are not completely satisfied dont spend it!

What TomKat said.. if you want a Vette buy a Vette.. It's personal preferrence but Vette's are ehh to me.

Didn't GT500s have better seats? Some of them had leather wrapped dashes as well. But if that 5.4 doesn't sell you then I'd look for something else or just keep yours.

The 07-09 GT500 DEFINATLEY does not look like the Mustang GT in those years, front end looks completely different, the new style i would say yes they do tho........

People spend $2k+ on GT500 conversion. Looks miles better than GT fronts. Esp if you couple that with a Truefiber Venom hood.... SICK!!!

thats what i was gonna say to but wasnt sure so if your still looking to buy i think its a steal of deal and it dosn't actually look like the regular gt so Shelby FTW!

I was looking at a bunch of '06 thru '08 GT500's back in '09 when I was looking for a V6 for my wife and they were in the $36k - $40k range back then in Chicago and was considering an '08 GT500 on the dealers lot for $32k a few months ago here in Florida. I was going to offer $28k but it disappeared after sitting for about 6 months. I'd think you can talk him down from $34k.

I've got the leather wrapped dash. I thought that was all GT500's. Either way it's pretty cool and I like it it a lot.

PS - Just a few more weeks til Walking Dead is back!!

Yes better seats, the leather dash and trim was an option on the GT500 in the U.S but was standard in Canada
