Spacer size on 2013 GT
#3
I've lowered my car, and I've bought proper fitting wheels that go out to the fender line.
what would you like to know? if you want to run spacers, you could measure the distance between the edge of your wheel and the fender and buy 5x114.3/blah blah hub bore wheel spacers in that millimeter measurement. without measuring I would guess they are probably about 20mm sunk in .. yay OEM. the brembo wheels fit a little better. you can get them custom ordered in any size, and they are readily manufactured in 5mm/10/15/20/25 etc. there are two types of wheel spacers - some require extended wheel studs, and some bolt to your existing wheel studs and offer their own built in wheel studs. everyone has difference preferences, but if I had to use them, I'd get the extended stud versions. H&R, Ichiba etc are pretty large names in this area.
I can tell you why I don't use spacers: they add extra rotational mass on each corner and worsen performance. they put more strain on the hub and shorten wheel bearing life. sometimes they are even slightly unsafe and make for poor alignment. many national tire chains will not even touch a car with wheel spacers as they don't want the potential liability. although - I say this, and I hear other people report differently. I can tell you the local discount tires and les shwabs etc will not for the Seattle area.
I believe there is a user here running the CS style wheels (albeit, 2011/2012 style), and he has to have spacers on - they fit way too well to not have spacers. Jimmy, I believe?

if you want information on lowering as well - .. what I did:
eibach sportlines (~2" drop, levels out the front/rear height as well), eibach struts/shocks, maximum motorsports caster/camber plates (front strut mount replacements), bmr adjustable panhard bar etc.
I have a lot of reasoning behind each choice. I would have to understand your goals/needs to recommend anything.

Don't sweat it. As long as you buy credible ones like H&R or Eibach, you'll be fine. I had them on my M5 and had no issues and tons of people run them with no issues.
You just need to install them properly
As far as performance, you won't notice anything unless you are Michael Schumacher.
I was searching for the same thing, A lowered '13 w/ 19 inch wheels and spacers and no one has them. I am in the process of obtaining 25mm spacers as it seems its the most aggressive without any rubbing. Maybe 30mm might work.
Anyway, I have the H&R Super Sport Springs which supposedly lowers these cars the most. Anyway, for reference:

I wore out some bearings really quickly on my 350z with 20mm spacers. People that have them want to believe that there's no impact, but there is .. you're extending out where the wheel mounts, changing weight location, adding weight ..
your mileage may vary, as with anything in this world.. : )
