I'll always have 20s on my Mustangs moving forward (unless Track'd), but WILL ALWAYS slam the ride prior.

I like staggered... but I also have 18x9s front and 19x10s rear.
The 4x4 look is more exaggerated when the rim size increases. This is because the tire sidewall is getting thinner while the tire/fender gap remains the same (assuming same diameter tires). As long as you keep the sidewall height 2x greater than the tire/fender gap, you will be OK IMO.
Hasn't anybody noticed that Mustangs that came with 17" wheels don't have the 4x4 look? It's because the factory 235/55/17 has a sidewall height of 5.1" with a 2.25" rear tire/fender gap. But when someone puts a 255/35/20 on a 20" wheel you get a sidewall height of 3.5" with a tire/fender gap of 2.35" <--- has the 4x4 look on OEM springs (must lower IMO).
