Pretty much....4 wheels, cloth and an engine! :P

I've never been one for bells and whistles and all the goodies I want added I can get done much cheaper.

UPDATE: A local FORD dealer is giving me a locked in price for a bare bones 13' GT. Now, there are no guarenteed rebates after Oct 1st, but the salesperson said there will more than likely be a new one upon arrival of the new car.

He thinks, and I hope, the rebate will be more than the current $1500. He thinks it will be $2000-2500. If this is the case, the deal works out for me. I will be 100% happy with the final OTD price.

6-8 weeks.....it will feel like an enternity!!!!

much faster than the 5 months my brother in law is waiting for his BRZ. the mustang production time is pretty streamlined and fairly reliable, unless you had an option that they ran short on (like the recaros for some people) - luckily you are going barebones, should be no delays!

you are a brave man for going black! I don't have the expertise or drive to try to maintain a clean black paint job! : )

thank you though!

Well, I actually enjoy washing/waxing a car (at least I will with the Mustang) My current ride is black and has been exposed to the elements for 10 yrs and it still looks good....this is w/o me really taking too much car of it. I wax it 3 times a year and wash when needed. The Mustang I will be more **** about it though

Also, once a year I will have a detail shop go over it.

I just LOVE black....makes a mean car meaner!
