My Shaftmasters vibrated after 90 mph, it was re-installed by another shop with an adjustable upper control arm, at the proper pinion angle, still vibrated at 90 with crappy performance leading up to 90.

Same day of that test, Dynotech DS was installed, test driven to 110 with no vibration, and 50mph and above was reported as being far better with same day direct professional comparison.

So my ride quality and top end was effected the entire time I had the Shaftmasters put in by another shop, ate the DS money and labor, and had it done right.

Huge difference, the Shaftmasters in some numbers are being released from factory already out of true alignment, and will never be balanced, even though people will spend more money trying thinking it's the pinion angle, the installation, needing an adjustable UCA, ect...ect..

It's not, it's the driveshaft dummy. Always was. I have the same weight loss with the Dynotech DS, with no issues. Erik

Did you contact the company about your issue? When I bought mine there was a Shaftmaster rep here on MF. Another member had vibration issues and they replaced his for no cost.

Fwiw, I've taken my SM to 135mph with no problems

I got the aluminum one. I can't see myself paying the premium for the CF when it's only 1-2 lbs lighter than aluminum.
