Endgame: part 1

I'm in Northern California, so that's probably why you haven't heard of anything. Besides it was a small show by a local mustang club (Diablo Valley Mustang Association), there were maybe 150 cars total. But it was nice to get out and talk cars again after driving the POS 1998 dodge stratus 4-banger for the last 7 months.

It's been on the dyno and I have the numbers for the 91 octane 'street' tune and the 109 octane race tune. Videos will be linked later today, and the dyno charts at some later time. The summary is that the street tune is at just over 750 and the race tune is set up for 905 right now.

Just drove it home from RET, 350 mostly uneventful miles. The "street tune" is insane, completely tame at under 3K rpms, then a beast above 4k. It's going to take some getting used to, on the couple of occassions I hit WOT just to try to get a felling for it, I missed the shift a few times, need to build up the muscle memory and not get distracted by turbo noises. The Continental Extreme Contact DW tires which were fine on the Whipple in 3rd and up aren't going to cut it, had wheelspin in 4th.
