Default 08 GT Paxton S/C 1st time at track results!

Hey all. Well I decided to take my car up to Island Raceway in NJ to see what I could do. I didnt do bad for my first time just need to work on my reaction time. My best time was 12.733 at 117.35mph and my best 60' was 2.051. I did four runs before my clutch started to hurt *Stock. I def need better/wider tires haha. Here are some videos crank up the volume. Tips welcome!

vs 2010 Camaro with exhaust mods 13.209 @ 114.84

Good vids.. Something doesn't seem right though, I would think you would trap a lot lot higher than that at your power level..

117mph traps are good for deep 11 second passes. Keep working at it and you'll be in the 11 second club in no time.

I think he meant 117mph is low for a 500rwhp car, but we all know dyno numbers mean nothing. My only dyno numbers were 404rwhp and I trap 117 on almost all my runs.

I'm going back to the track soon!

Once you get to the point where you feel the clutch slipping, it's pretty bad. I bet you are losing a lot more then you think.

Sweet ride... how many psi are you pushing for 503whp?
Would love to see your times with a new clutch and 10" wide tires (or DR's on those wheels)

Curse you, northerners and your cold air! My car has nearly the same mods, plus cams, and longtube headers, and the most i got out of mine was 486rwhp and 382rwtq. lol

Awesome numbers, man!
