Default 2005 GT 6 or 8 bolt Flywheel? I used the search button!!

Sorry guys I know this has to be stated in a thread somewhere but our search button does not seem to come up with anything useful. I need to know what flywheel to purchase before I have everything torn apart. I have my vin number handy if someone know what letter/number to look for or if there is a date range. I did a live chat with an employee at A.C.T today and they couldn't tell me an easy way to find out. Anyways let me know or point me to a thread that discussed this if possible. Thanks guys!
AJ

GTs come with a 6-bolt crank, GT500s come with an 8-bolt crank.
The only way you would have an 8-bolt crank is if you went with forged internals, which based on the mods listed, you don't need.

Awesome, Thanks so much! That's what I figured but did not want to pull everything apart to find out I had something else. Love this forum!
