+1 I have a 07GT with 85K. Just replaced the shocks and struts and the car rides like new. Did it all myself for a steal (check out the Roush New Take Off 2013 struts on ebay - Koni on the rear). Its been paid off for 3 years and I love not having that payment. I have driven the 13 and love the updates, but its not worth the cost to me. I plan on keeping this one and shoot for 200K.

Keep the one you have.
It is going to get harder and harder to find good '05-'09s. I bet you would regret getting rid of your car.

This.. plus one million... In all seriousness OP, do you really plan on keeping the '13 stock and honoring the warranty? You'll be very tempted to mod it.. Also, having no debt is so much better and you already have a pretty nice car..

I'm with the majority. Keep your existing car. If you are still unsure, put the money aside that you would otherwise be using for a car payment and at the end of 6 months or a year decide what to do with the money you have set aside. If you are still itching for a new car, at least you'll have a nice downpayment, or money for mods, or to go on a vacation you wanted to!

Or make bigger monthly payments to any credit card debts you have etc.

In all fairness, it appears his GT is blown. Not sure I would jump off of a supercharged GT that's paid off to 2013 5.0 I would say keep it and enjoy it!

I would keep it, I assume its mostly the way you want? Seems like you have maintained it very well with zero problems, and to me that's more peace of mind than buying a new car that could possibly be a lemon (probably won't happen but you never know). You have the knowledge of your car, the ins and outs of it, and to me, that's hard to give up.
