Question Left Turn Signal Not Working - But Bulb Not Burnt Out?

When I unlock my '07 GT, the left middle bulb turns on, however when I activate the left turn signal, only the front light flickers - not the rear.

Anyone know what might be causing this? I figure it's probably a fuse but I'm not completely sure..

What happens when you:
  1. apply the brakes?
  2. turn your running lights on?
  3. turn your hazards on?

When breaks are applied, only the right side middle bulb lights up.

When running lights are on, they all light up the same ( all 6)

Hazards, same as breaks. Left middle doesn't light up but right does.

Copy and paste the above. For some reason, my computer is breaking up the link.

Any chance your car has been in the rain a lot lately?

Your taillights and brake/hazard/directionals work off two separate filaments in the same bulbs. All your taillights might work, but that doesn't mean the filaments that run the other lights are okay. Only the outer two lights on each side are illuminated for brake/hazard/directionals.

Long shot but if you still participate in this forum, what was your fix? I'm in the same boat but with the outside lights 2/6. I'm positive it's not the bulbs, as they work when I move them to a different position.

It's was likely a fuse (in the engine bay). I had a similar issue of a fuse that was removed and not replaced when service was complete. They have a crossover wire on one of the bulbs (out of the 3) for brakes and running lights as a safety, but they can't do that for turn signals. Unfortunately the fuse diagram doesn't label the rear right and left turn signal/hazard/brake, but uses something obscure... just looked up an email I sent out... "SJB#5", which is fuse 59, this is for the passenger side only, not sure which fuse is for the driver side.
