Don't do it? I did it on jackstands, twice! Haha. It is the ultimate PITA job on these cars though.

I wish I saw this post before I started! It turned out to be a 11 hour job! Very Difficult installation.

I am a little over 75k.

It was a very big undertaking and my back, head, arms, legs, and fingers are killing me today but the new clutch and flywheel are in! I did the installtion with jacks and stands, as well as I purchased a transmission jack which was a must.

I am glad you got it done! 11 hours beats my 12, and I had a full sized lift and tranny jack and professional help... I was sore too haha.

I've done it twice and could probably do it in a few hours, but it still hurts every muscle in my body. My next house will have a lift.

I use a few jack stands, 2x10's and rhino ramps to get the car a little higher than necessary

It's funny you say that...yesterday morning I was online looking at lifts for my garage one day. It would be very worth it.

x1000! After the first time I did this, I actually started pricing lifts but could never find one that would fit the dimensions of my garage.

I don't have a garage or I'd probably all ready have bought one. I have a cement driveway with 2 car carport. If I mounted a lift under my carport, somebody would steal it! I live in the arm pit of Florida.

Not just any garage will do. You need a lot more floor space and ceiling height than it would seem necessary for even a small lift.
